Riott Racing rebranding

For the alignment I made sure the bottom of the logo lined up. Then I lined up the bottom curvature of the "t" to the "o". Giving the speedometer logo flames, gradient from black to white, and the needle at a high mph represents speed. The red needle gives it contrast to draw the eyes to it. Making the "Riott" bigger in cursive and "auto" bolded and smaller in all caps gives contrast as well to help the reader read Riott first, then auto.
This is the Facebook profile picture I designed for Riott Auto. Originally, I was attempting to fit the logo with Riott Auto and the speedometer with flames, but it made the font too small. If someone was looking at the Facebook page, there's no way they would be able to see it due to the fact that its too small. To make it more legible I put the speedometer in the "R". This made it look immaculate and flow better. I ended up deciding, this is the new updated logo as well.

With the speedometer in the "R" it gives it more contrast. It doesn't look as busy, therefore, making it easier for the costumers to read it. Since the "R" is big, the center of it gives the illusion of a outline of a speedometer. Having the Red needle in the "R" also still gives it contrast. Even though I removed the flames it still has repetition because it still looks like a speedometer. I aligned the bottom of the speedometer with the bottom part of the "R" where it circles around.
This is the Facebook cover photo I decided on. This makes it easier for people viewing the Facebook page to understand that this page is for a auto company. Having a picture of someone fixing a car demonstrates the fact that Riott Auto is careful and precise with their work. It shows that this is a certified auto company.
This is the Twitter profile picture I designed. It is the same logo I used for the Facebook profile picture. The only difference is its bigger. Making the profile pictures the same shows repetition in the company.
This is the Twitter cover photo I decided on. Having the picture of a car and a father with his son conveys the message that Riott Auto treats your car with care because we know it gets your family from point A to point B. Your family deserves a reliable car. Riott Auto is a reliable trustworthy company. We want you and your family to drive safe.
This is the front of the business card I designed for Riott Auto workers. For the contrast I picked a black background with red lettering to make the "Riot Auto" stand out more. That way it draws the readers attention to that first. Then I made "www.riotauto.com" grey to draw the readers eyes to that part next. With the black, red, and grey it gives a lot of contrast but nothing is too over powering. For the alignment I aligned the website and the logo font in the center of the card and I made sure the website was aligned with the middle of the "Riott Auto". I showed repetition by making the "Riott Auto" red just like the needle in the speedometer. Also, using the same fonts. For proximity I made the website and company name close together because the colors of them compliment each other.
This is the back of the business card I designed. For contrast I made the checkered flags and a gradient effect to it to make it look like its moving. I put the speedometer logo in the center of the gradient checkered flags because with the illusion of the flags moving and the speedometer at a high RPM it makes everything look like its in motion. I put all personal information on the left and the social media information on the right to separate the two categories. The information that is red is the most important and the grey information gives the business card more contrast. I made my name in cursive to make it look like a signature. For alignment, like I said, I put the logo in the middle of the flags. I made all the information on the right read from left to right. For repetition I used the same colors and fonts. For proximity I made the information close together and the social media logos close together.
This is the envelope I designed for Riott Auto. For contrast I made the flaming speedometer transparent in the background with a clean white to give it contrast and also so the "Riott Auto" is by itself with the address the envelope came from. Having the flaming speedometer by it would make it look too clustered. For alignment, I made the address the envelope is being sent to in the center. For repetition, I made sure I used the same fonts and colors.
This is the letter for Riott I originally made but then I updated it to the letter below. The one on top had too much going on. The filler words I used was too long, it didn't have spacing in between paragraphs and I didn't have "To whom it may concern" and "Sincerely". Also at the bottom of the first letter the information had a bigger font and didn't look centered.

The new updated letter below has fewer filler words, it contains "To whom it may concern" and "Sincerely" which makes it look more professional. I kept the same sizing of the logo and address at the top. I also kept the boarder around the page. At the bottom of the new letter the information is in a smaller font and is centered. I also added a transparent speedometer to give contrast because it has a red needle with black dashes. For alignment I made the paragraphs read from left to right, I aligned the edge of the "R" to the edge of the paragraphs. The address at the top right is lined up with the top of the logo, and like I said before the information below is centered. For repetition I used the same fonts and coloring just like everything else. The font "nineteenth" is used in the paragraphs and the font "ronet" is used for "Riott Auto" at the bottom of the letter to look like a signiture

All in all I made sure the same fonts and colors were being used throughout the whole portfolio to show repetition. I made sure everything looked clean, professional, and classic.
